Osteopathy is a manual therapy that involves the treatment of joints, muscles, ligaments and all surrounding structures. Any kind of joint ache, pain or stiffness whether it be in the back, neck, arms or legs can be an indication that there are underlying joint and muscle strains and these, left untreated can upset your general health.

Osteopathy includes a wide range of specialities that meet the health need of different people including babies and children, pregnant women, sports people, injured workers and the retired, older adults. The osteopath uses the most appropriate techniques for your condition and body type and these may include soft tissue work, stretching, joint articulation, muscle energy and manipulation. Treatment is often followed by the prescription of rehabilitative exercises, stretches and postural advice.
